Thankfully, we had Esther along for the ride. Her experience, keen attention to detail, and most importantly, her genuine compassion for our well-being, made what would have been a daunting and difficult process quite easy and efficient. We finished everything, keys in hand, in 3 weeks - and during Covid year at that!

(Original Version) I can't speak highly enough of Esther. I just moved to Barcelona from California, very busy with work, and cannot speak Spanish, so buying a flat in Barcelona is a daunting task.
She was so professional, organized, and she helped me work through all the details (financially and legally) to buy my home smoothly. I felt so informed every step of the way because of how clear and strong a communicator she is, and how responsive she was.

Found a fantastic family home close to Sagrada Familia
(Original version) It has always been our dream to have our own place in in Barcelona. Thanks to Esther van de Paverd from Radix we finally found a nice apartment. Close to the Sagrada Familia.

The Barcelona real estate market is complicated. Much more complicated than the Dutch real estate market. You have to be careful, to buy a property in Barcelona is a complicated process. During the intake she helped us make up our minds. She knows Barcelona well. The areas, the pros and cons, the prices, etc. Based on this we defined our ideal place.
Then Esther helped us in every step. From finding the place that fulfils our requirements. Negotiate the price …. and she did very well on that. Get the NIE (required to buy a property). Help to open a bank account (to make the transfer easier). Use of legal services when and where required and propose a notary to do the transaction. She was present at the meeting with the notary to solve the last minute issues.
After the transaction at the notary she helped us with the Barcelona utilities (get us water, electricity and gas) and other services. She explained every step in the process. Helped with reading the Spanish letters, mails, etc. and set-up letters in Spanish. She was so incredible helpful. Apart from getting the apartment she also helped us with renovating the apartment. Finding the builders and architect, etc.
Esther is a professional, knows the Barcelona real estate market well and is 100% dedicated to make the search for a property a success. We couldn’t have done it without her. She has made our life so much easier. I really recommend her!

(translated from Spanish) “We had spent a year looking for a flat in a specific area of Barcelona when Esther proposed her services. For us this was a relief and a we were quick in deciding to entrust this project to her. The search for a flat with demanding criteria requires the time and knowledge that we do not have. When flat hunting on your own, you visit a lot of properties that do not fit you or your specific criteria and are left with no results.

Esther is a clear, efficient and fast professional who understands the needs of others well. We already worked together in the past and I knew that we dealt with a person with good taste and judgement. At the beginning of our collaboration, we explained as clearly as possible what we were looking for and jointly visited some properties, so Esther could get a clear understanding of what we were looking for. We exchanged lots of information.

On a weekly basis, Esther would sent a summary of the properties she visited with the specifics and her observations and recommendations. Together we would decide which one to visit again and which one not. When one day a good opportunity arose, Esther recommended to be quick, which we did and everything was perfect.

In 3 months we have found the best flat for us. Large, bright, within budget and in the area that we wanted. We are delighted! Without your services I do not think we would have had access to a property of this quality so quickly.
